Effective: 1 March 2026 · Last reviewed: 1 March 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Heartland Coverage Partners LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, stores and protects the personal information of individuals who interact with our website, services and communication channels. We are a licensed insurance agency helping households in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa enrol in Health Insurance Marketplace coverage. We are not the Health Insurance Marketplace, not HealthCare.gov, and not a government agency. By using our services you consent to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
Heartland Coverage collects personal information that you voluntarily provide. When you contact us or ask us to check your subsidy, that is your name, telephone number, email address, ZIP code, the number of people on your tax return, and an estimate of your household income.
If you go on to enrol through us, we collect what the application requires — dates of birth, Social Security numbers, immigration status where relevant, and information about any coverage offered through an employer. Some of this is sensitive, and we treat it accordingly.
We do not ask for medical records. We may ask which doctors you see and which prescriptions you take, in order to check them against plan networks and formularies.
Please do not put a Social Security number into a form on this website.Neither form on this site asks for one, and both reject text that looks like one.
We also automatically receive technical information from your device, including your IP address, browser type, access times and pages viewed, through server logs and analytics. We do not use it to identify you. We do not process payments through this website and do not hold card details.
How We Use Your Information
To work out what you qualify for, to compare plans against your doctors and prescriptions, to submit an application on your behalf when you ask us to, and to service your coverage afterwards — including reminding you when it is time to review. We also use it to help when a claim is denied or a letter arrives that you do not understand.
Technical information is used to keep the website working and secure. Your information is also used to meet our legal, regulatory and licensing obligations, including the record retention required by federal Marketplace rules and by the insurance departments of Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa.
Sharing and Disclosure
Strict no-sale policy
Heartland Coverage Partners LLC does not sell personal information or mobile data to third parties. We do not share it with lead buyers or marketing companies. Lists of people shopping for health coverage are actively bought and sold, and we do not participate in that market in either direction. If that ever changes, this notice will change first.
We share information only with:
- Insurance carriers and the Health Insurance Marketplace, where necessary to place or service your coverage.
- Service providers who help us operate — for example our agency management system or telephone provider — under agreements that limit what they may do with it.
- Regulators, where the law requires it or in response to a valid legal process.
That is the complete list.
Text Messages
If you consent to text messages, we use your number only for the purposes described in ourMobile Terms. Consent is never a condition of buying anything, and you may withdraw it at any time by replying STOP. Mobile opt-in data and consent records are not shared with third parties for their own marketing.
We record the consent wording you agreed to, with the date, time, IP address and page it came from, in order to evidence compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is entirely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Your Privacy Rights

Data Retention
We retain information for as long as you are a client, and afterwards for the period our state insurance regulators and federal Marketplace rules require records to be retained. Enquiry information that does not become a client relationship is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
Children's Privacy
This website is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under 18.
A Marketplace application routinely includes children, because a household enrols together. We collect that information from the parent or guardian completing the application, use it only to determine eligibility and place coverage, and never use it for marketing. If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.
